Wondering how in the heck you’re going to be able to build your brand and have a life apart from your keyboard too? Just like all ‘problems’ – it’s never too long before some smart marketer comes up with a solution
I’ve just ordered this book and am thinking that you may want to also – not to be a lemming following blindly, but because leaders stay in tune with “the trends” at least enough to understand what all the distraction is about. Enter: Social Media Marketing in an Hour a Day Will social media be working for you and your business – or you become another of the [...] Continue Reading…
Leads for Network Marketing – Stop the Madness!
Posted by Andrea in , on February 17th, 2009
Leads for network marketing – everyone wants good ones, right? And I think just about everyone who’s wanted leads for network marketing in life has paid for some pretty crummy ones – don’t feel bad, there’s a learning curve to getting good mlm leads that is as much an art as it is science. See the biggest problem is this – you’re not the one gathering the leads. And you’re paying WAY too much. These people IF they even opted in to a well targeted ad, have exactly zero relationship with you. They don’t know you, they don’t like you (yet) and they have not one single reason to believe and trust you. Madness I tell you. You’re just plum cuckoo if you think that’s gonna work for ‘ya – let alone be duplicable. The absolute very best gonna-get-your-downline-built kinda [...] Continue Reading…
MLM Education – How much are you spending?
Posted by Andrea in , on February 15th, 2009
It’s always interesting to me how people will hesitate to buy something for their MLM education that will help them become more valuable to their own business.
I’m reading through Magnetic Sponsoring again today and this is one of the points I completely agree with that Mike really underscores …
How important do you suppose it is to continue learning and adding to your personal skills, not just for your own sake, but so that you become attractive to your target market? So you can add real and tangible value to the people you seek to serve?
How YOU Can Become a Welcome Resource
Thing is, you probably already know first hand just how overwhelming it can feel to dive into a new area of learning and sort the wheat from the chaff – the excellent information from the total … I’ll just say it … crap.
Information overload is the buzz word of [...] Continue Reading…
Entitlement, Laziness or Simply Lack Thinking??
Posted by Andrea in , on December 4th, 2008
Been wanting to get back around to posting here – so many directions to go in and yet it always works out that Network Marketing, particularly Internetwork Marketing (with a generous dash of affiliate marketing) is where my heart is.
Recently, my friend Jackie Lee and I opened learnitstepbystep.com, a membership site designed to help people learn how to do the little things that get in the way of online marketing. The reception has been wonderful – many compliments and happy campers both on the free and paid parts of the site.
With one exception – lol – there’s always someone, eh?
This person seems to feel as though we ‘owe’ her answers to her private questions. And time was when I would have spent half the day helping her …. really ENABLING her… and experience tells me she still wouldn’t have taken action. Nor would she have learned how to find [...] Continue Reading…
We’re in the Transportation Business?
Posted by Andrea in , on May 25th, 2008
How do you describe what you do?
Doesn’t matter what your business is, nor product, nor service — the way Mitch sees it, everyone’s in the “Transportation Business”.
What the heck??
Well it’s true – check this out:
Mitch Axelrod » Video
The R.A.M.M. Formula by Mitch Axelrod
The real question is, what kind of “Transportation Business” is it that you’re in?
And what that takes is clarity.
Clarity about where you are now and where you want to be.
Mitch shares 4 steps that ‘guarantee’ you can get there:
R = Result (what’s your destination?)
A = Action (DO Something – “imperfect action beats perfect inaction every single time”)
M = Measure (are you on or off course? – quantity and quality)
M = Modify (be willing to adapt and revise)
Watch the video, grab the companion .pdf — share with others; take your friends along for the ride
‘Cause if it ain’t fun, we ain’t doin’ it, right?
I’m in the [...] Continue Reading…
Should You be Promoting Your Company Out Loud?
Posted by Andrea in , on May 13th, 2008
I am of the distinct opinion that we should never be promoting our company out loud.
There are a lot of people who would disagree with me. The companies themselves for instance. Upline leadership that is firmly invested in volume levels — that would be another example.
Anytime that someone suggests that you lead with a specific brand name — my feeling is it’s time to seriously question their motives. Ask yourself, what’s in it for them?
Don’t get me wrong, I’m all about product sales. Consistent retail sales being the highest and purest “market driven” form of sales…
What I’m saying is (and I’ve said it before), let the product or company be the recommendation that you make after having built a relationship, and an understanding of what the person wants.
Brand yourself and your ‘expert’ knowledge first.
Otherwise, you’re just out there hawking someone else’s product on your [...] Continue Reading…
